Transportation Projects for 2010:

 

McCoy Road Reconstruction

 

The McCoy Road project will replace the existing concrete pavement with asphalt. The project starts 800' east of the rail line and runs under USH 14 to the CTH MM intersection. Funding is by the City except for the portion between the ramps of the interchange with USH 14 which will be funded by WI-DOT. The Capital City State Trail will be realigned to the south side of McCoy in anticipation of the removal the following year for the ramp on the USH 14 Interchange south of McCoy. The design is being coordinated with the WI-DOT by Gus VanderWegen.

 

Badger State Trail

 

The Badger State Trail is a 6 mile bike and pedestrian path construction which will include a 10' wide asphalt path and redecking of several bridges to meet width standards. Funding is 80% by WI-DOT and 20% by WI-DNR. Design by Schreiber/Anderson Associates is being coordinated by Ahnaray Bizjak.
