Kid's IdentificationProgram
The Fitchburg Police Department offers a FREE Kid's Identification Program. Our goal is to provide parents with a booklet that contains a current photo of their child, vital information about the child and the child's fingerprints. In times of crisis, trying to recall information about your child is difficult and only adds to the stress of the situation. If a child became lost or missing the parent would have all necessary information in the booklet to assist law enforcement to locate the child.
The department is utilizing the KidCare ID Booklet that meets the standards set by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We will be photographing and fingerprinting kids at many special events held in Fitchburg through the year. We are also contacting licensed daycare centers in Fitchburg offering to bring the program to the center and fingerprint their kids.
Contact the Crime Prevention Bureau at 608-270-4300 to schedule a time. It can be done at your site or at the police department. |
