The Fitchburg Police Department's Detective Bureau consists of Detective Shannan Sheil-Morgan, Detective Hector Aguirre, and Detective Kenneth Folkers. They are responsible for conducting follow-up investigations on Fitchburg crimes. Detectives attend specialized training such as crime scene reconstruction and photography, drug investigation, field interview and interrogation, computer crime investigation, sex offender investigation, automobile theft investigation, financial crime investigation, and electronic surveillance techniques.
