Fitchburg New Economy Technology Team (FNETT)

FNETT Charge

The City of Fitchburg unveiled a major economic development initiative called the Fitchburg Technology Neighborhood.  The Fitchburg New Economy Technology Team will help to implement that vision.

This team will assist in identifying and recommending policies as well as cultivate a relationship between government and business that will create a positive environment and partnerships in order to foster technology industry growth.  They will promote partnerships between the private sector, government, and education.

FNETT Goals

  • To ensure the leading edge infrastructure required for high technology companies is in place to provide a competitive location advantage.

  • To establish a brand image for Fitchburg that will market our City as a location for technology companies and the workforce they need.

  • To secure the necessary public and private capital need to successfully finance the infrastructure, research, marketing and business development activities in the Fitchburg Technology Neighborhood.
