Security Survey

The Fitchburg Police Department will do a security survey of homes or businesses within Fitchburg, free of charge. A crime prevention officer will do a security survey checking for a number of things including the following:Burglary

  • Check locks on doors and windows
  • Check exterior lighting
  • Check for landscaping problems (Example: Shrubs which provide hiding places for burglars)
  • Check alarm systems to see if they are adequate
  • Check for any other security and safety problems

The Crime Prevention Officer will recommend any updates which can improve safety and security. To have a security survey done, contact Fitchburg Crime Prevention Officers.
