Sunday Hours
A reminder to everyone in the community that the library will be closed on Sundays for the summer. Sunday closures will be in effect from May 27 through September 2, 2012. We will resume Sunday hours on September 9, 2012. Please call 608-729-1763 with questions.
eBook AvailabilityIf you've searched for or checked out library eBooks recently, you probably noticed that not all the titles you wanted were there. There has been much discussion in the library community recently about the availability of eBooks through libraries. The demand has skyrocketed. In the South Central Library System alone, eBook usage increased over 600% from 2010 to 2011! Yet as demand grows, libraries are faced with publishers who are refusing to sell eBooks to them. Think that's wrong? We do too. Please contact these publishers and let them know you want libraries to be able to buy eBooks.
