Sanitary Sewer
The City maintains over fifty miles of sanitary sewer mains and interceptors in the Urban Service Area. All of the City's
sewerage flows into the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District's (MMSD) interceptors. MMSD treats and disposes of
the sewerage.
The Sanitary Utility cleans and televises sewage lines annually and also repairs sewage back ups in the public main.
