McGaw Park Master Plan

In January 2012 the City of Fitchburg adopted a master plan for McGaw Park, one of two Fitchburg community parks. A park master plan is a guide for future park use and facility improvements and serves as a long-term vision for the park.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION & MEETINGS
This plan reflects the input and feedback of citizens and park users and was developed through a transparent public process. This included a series of public workshops and open houses, a park tour, public hearing and other public meetings.

McGaw Park Amenities and Potential Future Parkland
McGaw Park Neighborhood Plan- This plan proposes the expansion of McGaw Park to the west and south as a part of the future McGaw Park Neighborhood.
2010-2015 Comprehensive Park, Open Space, and Recreation Plan - This plan describes what a community park is and provides recommendations for McGaw Park.
